Meet Charlisa Brown, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Charlisa Brown is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in providing medical and mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. She utilizes a multimodal approach that helps identify the connections between biological, physical, and social factors in an individual’s life, which all play a significant role in mental health and wellness. She also incorporates evidence-based medication treatment and psychotherapy in regards to treatment planning. She provides psychoeducation on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to ensure patients can make the best informed decisions about their treatment. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental illness, promoting inclusivity, and increasing access to care. She is also a daughter, sister, friend, and bookworm at heart who enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, and all things food.
